2021 MMIRA Asian Regional / 7th JSMMR Annual Conference (October 30-31, 2021) invites general abstracts as follows. All abstracts will be presented online at the conference.

1. Qualifications of presenters
  • The first author of the abstract will be limited to members of JSMMR or MMIRA. If you wish to make a presentation, please become a member of either society.
Note: A JSMMR member can apply for an Affiliate Member of MMIRA. If you are currently a member of JSMMR and are considering to joini both, please become an MMIRA Affiliate Member.

2. Deadline for abstract submission
Jul. 20, 2021(Tue) 23:59 JST   <=  Abstract submission has been closed.

3. Abstract template

Please download the appropriate template form below and prepare your abstract.

  • Notes
    • Be sure to follow the instructions in the template when preparing your abstract.
    • Abstracts should be no more than one A4 page per presentation.

    4. Presentation format

    We ask that you make a paper presentation in either of the following two formats. Please specify your preferred format when submitting your abstract.

    • Oral Presentation 
      • Online presentation via Zoom (on-demand video)
    • Poster Presentation
      • Poster or slide presentation (Web-based presentation) 

    5. Abstract submission

    Please register your abstract and presenter's information using the following form.

      • After registration, you will receive an email with the title "We have received your response for MMIRAAsia-JSMMR2021". If you do not receive a reply immediately, please check your SPAM (junk) mail folder as it may have been sorted there. If you can't find the reply, please submit the abstract again.

      6. Peer-review process

      • The organizing committee will review the abstract to ensure that it conforms to the template.
      • In case your abstract does not follow the rule specified in the template, we may ask you to revise it.
      • Please note that in some cases, we may ask you to change your presentation format. In that case, we will contact you by mid-August 2021. We appreciate your kind cooperation if we ask you.
